5 ways I recommend for you to start your own healing, by yourself.

Updated: Oct 14, 2023

Step 1:

Begin your journey with meditation, dedicating 10 minutes a day. Ideally, practice this in the morning when your brain waves transition more smoothly into slower states upon waking. You have the freedom to make it your own. Whether it's lying down or sitting in a lotus position, choose what feels most comfortable for you. Consider listening to music, particularly tracks with soothing tones. There are numerous playlists available on platforms like Spotify and YouTube, or you can explore my own curated lists. Focus your attention on your breathing. If thoughts arise, that's perfectly fine. Let them flow without judgment. Redirect your focus back to your breath. You can absolutely do this.

Step 2:

Commence and conclude each day with gratitude. Journaling is a powerful way to practice gratitude consistently. Keep a journal by your bedside and jot down at least three things you're thankful for, preferably after your morning meditation. While you write, try to connect with the feeling of gratitude. This practice will reprogram your mind, fostering a more positive outlook. As positivity grows, you'll find yourself contemplating solutions instead of dwelling on problems.

Step 3:

Display a picture of yourself as a young child in a place where you'll see it daily. Choose a picture that brings a smile to your face. I, for example, keep mine in my bathroom cabinet, so every morning as I open it to brush my teeth, I'm greeted by my adorable younger self. Treat this image with the same kindness and care you would offer any child. This simple act can help you heal your inner child and promote a more positive self-image when you look in the mirror.

Step 4:

Exercise vigilance over what you consume. This can be a challenging adjustment as we often move through our days on autopilot. However, remember to be gentle with yourself; positive changes take time. By "consume," I mean everything, from what you watch and listen to, to what you eat and apply to your skin. Your skin is your body's largest organ, and this step is about cleansing yourself from the inside out, offering greater clarity in return.

Step 5:

Discover the wonders of Shilajit, also known as "blood mountain," a prized element in Ayurvedic medicine. I have been incorporating Shilajit into my routine for years. Start your day with a concoction of Shilajit, hot water, freshly squeezed lemon, fresh ginger, and one tablespoon of coconut oil. Shilajit boasts an array of benefits, including decalcifying your third eye, enhancing fertility, improving brain function, and slowing the aging process. It aids in altitude sickness, heart health, stress reduction, and alleviating anemia. Additionally, it boosts energy levels, promotes muscle strength, enhances gut health, and offers antioxidant properties, thanks to its 84 mineral content. When selecting Shilajit, opt for a purified, ready-to-use variety to ensure you experience its full benefits.
